Thereโs a long gap, and then thereโs 29 years. Undercroft just smashed that silence to bits.
The band have officially released their new album The Killer Sword via NB Extreme Recordings, and it comes with a pretty big moment baked in, the return of original vocalist Tito Melรญn to a full-length release for the first time since 1997โs Bonebreaker. Thatโs not a comeback, thatโs a resurrection.
The album was recorded across Chile and Germany, stitched together through a process led by founding guitarist Claudio Illanes, whoโs been steering this thing from day one. Production duties fell to Rafael Dobbs, with mixing and mastering handled by Martin Furia (of Destruction).
Across nine tracks, The Killer Sword doesnโt spend time looking backwards. This isnโt a museum piece, itโs a sharper, more direct attack that keeps the bandโs core intact while pushing into a more modern, aggressive sound. Same bloodline, new scars.
After months of buildup and a couple of advance singles, the full album is now out in the wild, available on streaming platforms and in physical form.
