Italian metal label Wormholedeath has added Finnish death and thrash unit Jewel Throne to its international roster. Formed in 2019, the ensemble spent the past few years establishing its core sound through three standalone EPs alongside a 2024 full-length debut, building momentum prior to securing broader global backing.

The upcoming release, The Obsidian Sculptor, marks the next chapter for the band, balancing death metal aggression and fast thrash execution with progressive structural shifts. The group spent extended studio time refining the arrangement of each track, prioritizing clean technical execution without sacrificing physical weight or live energy.

To mark the signing announcement, the band and label have dropped the title track, The Obsidian Sculptor, as an initial preview single. The track serves as a direct preview of the new studio session, coupling complex lead guitar work with dense rhythm sections and varied dynamic transitions.

Wormholedeath will handle worldwide physical and digital distribution for the new release late next month.

The Obsidian Sculptor drops November 27th, 2026.
