German blackened death metal outfit Horresque have officially released their new single, Behind the Door. The track is the first material to surface from the band’s upcoming third full-length album, Chasms Pt. III – The Dread, Unveiled, which is slated for an early 2027 release as an independent, self-released effort.

The single continues the band’s established execution of black and death metal, balancing heavy dissonance with a distinct melodic undercurrent. Lyrically, Behind the Door expands upon the psychological themes of human情 atrocity and trauma that have anchored the band’s ongoing Chasms trilogy, serving as the introduction to the final installment of the series.

Following the single’s digital launch, Horresque are currently finalizing an accompanying music video. The independent collective also plans to release at least two additional singles in the coming months leading up to the full album launch in early 2027.
